Officials from China and Norway held a teleconference on 29 April 2022 to discuss the further development of bilateral cooperation, including the negotiation and signing of a new income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, would replace the 1986 tax treaty between the two countries.
