Croatian Parliament Approves Pending Tax Treaty with the U.S.

On 25 September 2026, the Croatian parliament approved the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with the United States. The treaty, signed 7 December 2022, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged. The law also provides for the ratification of the amending protocol to the treaty, which was signed on 28 April 2026 and will enter into force along with the treaty.
