Curacao's Ministry of Finance has issued a penalty policy for ultimate beneficial ownership (UBO) registration. As previously reported, Curacao published the National Decree on UBO Registration in the Official Gazette on 7 June 2024, which established an ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) register managed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UBO Registry). The deadline for the initial registration of UBO information was 1 July 2025 and subsequently extended to 30 September 2025.
