Curacao's Ministry of Finance has published its Tax Treaty Negotiation Plan 2025. Curacao is looking to start new tax treaty negotiations with Barbados, Brazil, and Luxembourg. Curacao also plans to renegotiate the texts of tax treaties agreed to with Jamaica and Qatar as these do not meet BEPS minimum standards. Lastly, it is noted that negotiations were concluded with Mauritius in February 2025, with plans to sign the treaty later in 2025.
