The Cyprus Tax Department has issued a notice dated 15 January 2026 that confirms the extension of the temporary application of a zero VAT rate on basic goods from 1 January to 31 December 2026. As previously reported, the zero rate covers baby milk (liquid or powder), child and adult diapers, feminine hygiene products, specified fresh or chilled vegetables, and specified fresh fruits, and was provided by Decree No. 337/2025.
