Czech Chamber of Deputies Approves Pending Tax Treaties with Kenya, Malta, and Tanzania

On 15 October 2026, the Czech Chamber of Deputies (lower house of parliament) approved the ratification of the pending tax treaties with Kenya, Malta, and Tanzania.

The income tax treaty with Kenya, signed 23 September 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
