According to a release from the Vietnam government, officials from Dominica and Vietnam met on 22 September 2023 and discussed the need to promote negotiations of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
