Dominican Republic Increasing Solid Waste Management Contribution

The Senate of the Dominican Republic approved several amendments to the General Law on Integral Management and Co-processing of Solid Waste (Law no. 225-20) on 7 January 2025. The law introduced the Contribution for the Management and Co-processing of Solid Waste (CRS), the collection of which began in July 2021.
