Dominican Republic Senate Approves Increase in Solid Waste Management Contributions

The Dominican Republic Senate approved legislation amending the General Law on Integral Management and Co-processing of Solid Waste (Law no. 225-20) on 24 June 2026. As previously reported, the law introduced the Contribution for the Management and Co-processing of Solid Waste (CRS), the collection of which began in July 2021.
