The Council of the EU has announced the approval of updated tax cooperation and transparency agreements with Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, and Switzerland on 20 November 2025. The updates expand the automatic exchange of financial account information between the EU and these countries to include electronic money products and digital currencies.
