Ecuador's Ministry of Labor has published Ministerial Decree MDT-2022-216, which sets the basic minimum monthly salary for 2023 at USD 450. The minimum monthly salary is used for various tax-related purposes, including as the minimum basis for social security contributions. The decree is effective from 1 January 2023.
