According to a release from Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Egypt and Qatar signed an Agreement on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Customs Matters on 20 August 2026. Officials also signed other agreements on financial oversight, development partnerships, and health care.
