According to a release from the Turkish presidency, negotiations for an income tax treaty between El Salvador are to be concluded soon. The release follows a joint press conference held by the leaders of the two countries on 20 January 2022. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
