Ireland's Department of Finance has announced the European Commission's approval of an increase in the film tax credit project cap to EUR 125 million, and the extension of the tax credit to the end of 2028. The increase was provided for as part of the Finance (No.2) Act 2023 and the extension was provided for as part of Finance Act 2022, subject to Commission approval.
