European Commission Calls on Poland to Eliminate Violation of Reporting Rules for Foreign Digital Platform Operators Under DAC7

As noted in its June 2026 infringements package, published 3 June 2026, the European Commission has sent a letter of formal notice to Poland for failing to correctly transpose Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 (DAC7) in relation to the relief from registration and reporting obligations in the EU for foreign platform operators in a non-Union jurisdiction.
