European Commission Confirms Cyprus has Qualified Income Inclusion Rule Under the EU Pillar 2 Directive

The European Commission has issued a release on a new FAQ confirming that all EU Member States must treat Cyprus as having a qualified Income Inclusion Rule (IIR) under the EU Pillar 2 Directive, despite Cyprus not being listed on the OECD's Central Record of Pillar 2 legislation with qualified status. Cyprus it not listed because it is not a member of the OECD (or the Inclusive Framework) due to political objections.
