Finnish Parliament Approves Pending Protocol to Tax Treaty with Switzerland

On 6 October 2026, the Finnish Parliament approved the Government Proposal for the ratification of the pending protocol to the 1991 tax treaty with Switzerland. The protocol, signed 28 May 2026, is the fourth to amend the treaty. It will enter into force 30 days after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
