Ghana President Signs Ten Legislative Bills into Law, Including Several Tax-Related Bills

On 26 August 2026, the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, signed ten legislative bills into law, including several tax-related bills. The tax-related bills include:

• The Income Tax Amendment Bill (Act), 2026, which increases the presumptive tax threshold for individuals to GHS 750,000 (in line with the VAT threshold), and exempts people who earn the minimum wage and below from paying income tax, establishing the following brackets/rates:
