The Ghana Revenue Authority recently announced the amendment of different tax laws with effect from 1 January 2023, including measures announced as part of the 2023 Budget. The two main measures include a reduction in the Electronic Transfer Levy headline rate to 1% and an increase in the VAT rate from 12.5% to 15.0%.
