According to a recent post from Ghana's Office of the President (Jubilee House), President John Dramani Mahama signed the Growth and Sustainability Levy (Amendment) Bill, 2026 into law on 31 March 2026. The legislation reverses an earlier increase in the levy rate on mining companies to 3% back to 1%.
