Guernsey has published the Income Tax (Guernsey) (Approval of Agreement with Bahrain) Ordinance 2025, which provides for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Bahrain. The treaty, signed 29 September 2024, is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions. It will enter into force 30 days after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
