Hong Kong Issues Notice on Property Tax Obligations of Property Owners for Year of Assessment 2025/26

The Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department has issued a notice on the property tax obligations of property owners for the year of assessment 2025/26, including for property solely owned by individuals, property jointly or co-owned by individuals, and property owned by corporations and bodies of persons. Owners in receipt of rental income and liable to tax that have not yet received a relevant tax return are required to inform the Commissioner of Inland Revenue by 31 July 2026.
