The Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department has issued a release announcing that the Legislative Council approved the Inland Revenue (Amendment) (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 2021 on 2 June 2021. The bill will enter into force on 11 June 2021 when published in the Official Gazette and, as previously reported, includes measures to implement four areas of amendments in the Inland Revenue Ordinance (IRO):
