India and Sri Lanka Conclude Social Security Agreement Negotiations

According to a release from India's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from India and Sri Lanka concluded negotiations with the initialing of a social security agreement on 5 August 2026. The agreement is the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
