India and Sri Lanka Continue Social Security Agreement Negotiations

According to a post by the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka, officials from India visited Sri Lanka on 21 July 2026 to advance negotiations for a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
