On 25 October 2013, Inland Revenue (IR) released its third report on the taxation of multinational enterprises and base erosion. The report strongly supports the OECD's "Action Plan on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting", released in July 2013.
In addition to working closely with the OECD, IR will address deficiencies in the New Zealand domestic tax legislation in its work programme over the next 18 months, focusing on:
