Ireland's Department of Finance has issued a release announcing changes in the Universal Social Charge (USC) as a result of an increase in National Minimum Wage from EUR 9.80 to EUR 10.10 per hour from 1 February 2020. As a result, the USC rates and bands are amended as follows:

• EUR 0 – 12,012 @ 0.5%
• EUR 12,012 – 20,484 @ 2%
• EUR 20,484 – 70,044 @ 4.5%
• EUR 70,044+ @ 8%
