In a recent response to the UK Budget 2026 (Autumn Statement), the Isle of Man Treasury announced that it will extend the reduction of the VAT rate from 5% to 0% on domestic electricity supplies until 30 June 2027. Both the Isle of Man and the UK reduced the rate to 0% from 1 October 2026.
