The Isle of Man Treasury has issued a notice on the introduction of the Soft Drinks Industry Levy from 1 April 2019, which is line with the levy introduced in the UK in April 2018.

From 1 April 2019, the Soft Drinks Industry Levy ('the levy') will be introduced in the Isle of Man. The levy mirrors that already in place in the United Kingdom ('UK'). The levy is aimed at producers and importers on the Island of soft drinks containing added sugar.
