The Isle of Man Government has announced the introduction of the Verification of Entity Registration Bill 2026 to strengthen beneficial ownership transparency and ensure that the Island's registry legislation and processes meet the requirements of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). In relation to this, the launch of a separate consultation has been announced to introduce a 'legitimate interest' route to access beneficial ownership information in the Isle of Man.
