According to a release from the Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Kazakhstan and Oman met on 1 February 2023 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including the need to conclude an income tax treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
