The Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK) issued a release on 19 March 2026 confirming that the application of the income tax treaty with Italy has begun. As previously reported, the treaty was signed on 22 June 2021 and is the first of its kind between the two countries. It entered into force on 21 December 2025 and applies from 1 January 2026.
