According to a release from the Office of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, officials from Kosovo and Kuwait met on 21 September 2026 to discuss bilateral relations and agreed to finalize an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
