Kuwait implements domestic top-up tax on MNEs

Kuwait has issued a law regarding taxation of multinational enterprises (MNEs), introducing a Domestic Minimum Top-Up Tax with an effective tax rate of 15%.
The Domestic Minimum Top-Up Tax will apply to MNEs operating in Kuwait with a consolidated annual revenue of €750m or more in two of the last four fiscal years and is effective for fiscal years starting on or after 1 January 2025.
