Kyrgyzstan's Supreme Council Approves New Tax Treaty with Japan

According to a release from the Supreme Council (parliament) of Kyrgyzstan, the law for the ratification of the new income tax treaty with Japan was approved on 20 May 2026. The treaty, signed 19 December 2025, will enter into force 30 days after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
