Latvia published the Law on Amendments to the State Social Insurance Law in the Official Gazette on 19 December 2024. The law enters into force on 1 January 2025 and provides for an increase in the maximum basis for social insurance contributions from 2022 has been increased from EUR 78,100 to EUR 105,300. Note that the maximum basis is used as the threshold for the top individual income tax rate (previous coverage).
