On 1 July 2014, Luxembourg's Grand Duke Henri signed the law ratifying the pending income and capital tax treaty with Saudi Arabia. The treaty was signed 7 May 2013, and is the first of its kind between the two countries. The treaty was approved for ratification by Saudi Arabia on 31 March 2014.
