Luxembourg adopts draft legislation approving tax treaty with Colombia

On 2 April 2025, the Luxembourg Parliament ratified the Double Tax Treaty (Treaty) and the associated Protocol with Colombia, as signed on 19 January 2024. The next Luxembourg legislative step will be publication in the Official Gazette (Memorial).
Although the Treaty was originally signed on 10 February 2022, it had not been ratified. The wording of the Treaty approved on 2 April 2025 is identical to the original text.
