During its meeting on 23 January 2026, the Mauritius Cabinet authorized the signing of an income tax treaty with Curacao. The two sides concluded negotiations for the treaty in February 2025. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
