Mexico published the Decree Issuing the Federal Income Law for the Fiscal Year 2025 in the Official Gazette on 19 December 2024. With respect to taxation, one of the main measures of the law provides that the withholding tax rate on interest payments made by financial institutions is 0.5% in the fiscal year 2025, which is the same as for 2024.
