As previously reported by Pagero, taxpayers were able to use either the CFDI 3.3 or 4.0 until 30 June 2022. In a recent announcement made by the SAT, the transition period will be extended until 31 December 2022. As of 2023, only CFDI 4.0 will be accepted by the local tax authority.
The reason for this new postponement is to facilitate taxpayers’ compliance with their fiscal obligations.
