On 28 August 2024, Moldova's Cabinet of Ministers approved the negotiation of an administrative arrangement for the implementation of the social security agreement with Switzerland. Negotiations for the agreement, which is the first of its kind between the two countries, were concluded in January 2024. Both the agreement and the administrative arrangement must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
