According to a release from Moldova's National Office of Social Insurance, officials from Moldova and Quebec, Canada are holding the first round of negotiations for a social security agreement from 20 to 23 January 2026. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
