On 21 March 2024, the Montenegro Cabinet approved the draft law for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Albania. The agreement, signed 27 February 2023, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
