On 23 May 2018, Morocco’s upper house of parliament approved the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Bulgaria. The agreement, signed 21 September 2016, is the first of its kind between the two countries, and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
