Moroccan Parliament Approves Pending Tax Treaty with Burundi

Morocco's Chamber of Councilors (upper house of parliament) approved Project Law (Bill) No. 39.25 on 30 June 2026 for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Burundi. The Project Law was approved by the House of Representatives (lower house of Parliament) on 8 June 2026. The treaty, signed 12 May 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries.
