According to recent reports, Morocco's Chamber of Counselors has approved the law ratifying the pending protocol to the 1988 income tax treaty with India. The protocol, signed 8 August 2013, updates the treaty to bring it in line with the OECD standard for information exchange.

The protocol will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged.
