Morocco's House of Representatives Approves Pending Tax Treaty with Burundi

On 8 June 2026, Morocco's House of Representatives (lower house of Parliament) approved the Project Law (Bill) No. 39.25 for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Burundi. The treaty, signed 12 May 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
