On 7 August 2024, the Cayman Islands Government announced the commencement of the Beneficial Ownership Transparency Act 2023 and the Beneficial Ownership Transparency Regulations 2024, which came into force on 31 July 2024. The Act and Regulations consolidate and enhance the Cayman Islands' Beneficial Ownership Regime.
