New Tax Treaty between Japan and Kyrgyzstan Entering into Force

According to a release from Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new income tax treaty with Kyrgyzstan enters into force on 26 July 2026. The treaty, signed 19 December 2025, replaces the 1986 tax treaty between Japan and the former Soviet Union as it applies in respect of Japan and Kyrgyzstan.
